Categories of tourists
Students
Students are individuals from a recognized education institution (primary, secondary, government or private college or university), these individuals should be aged 23 years old are on the visit to the park to learn about conservation through a documented and organized arrangement with the institution. Student fees at Nairobi national park exclude students on privately arranged Kenya safaris, to be eligible to these fees the institution is required to inform KWS in a minimum of 2 weeks so as it can issue a written authorization for student rates.
Children
Children are individuals from the age of 3 years but below the age of 18.
Citizens
Citizens are individuals who are Kenya citizens with a valid National ID or Passports, this category also includes Citizens of Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan with valid passports or National IDs.
Residents
Residents are individuals of other nationalities residing in Kenya and are in possession of valid documentation from the Kenyan government.
Non-Residents
Non-Residents are international tourists who do not stay or work in Kenya.
Mode of payment
Cashless mode of payment for your entry in Nairobi national park are accepted using Mpesa, Visa Cards, MasterCard and direct deposits to KWS Bank accounts.
