Detailed itinerary of 7 Days Uganda Safari, Gorillas and Wildlife Trip
Day 1: arrival
on arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to your place of accommodation in the capital in Kampala or Kampala

Day 2: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a delicious breakfast, leave for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way you will have a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for pictures and a chance to stand in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere at the same time. Continue to Mbarara where you will have lunch then drive through the green countryside with terraced hills dotted with homesteads plus the long horned Ankole cattle, you will reach Bwindi in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Nshongi Gorilla Resort – Budget, Wagtail Safari Camp – Midrange or Gorilla Resort Lodge.

Day 3 – Magical Encounter with Mountains Gorillas
Have early breakfast and head to the park headquarters where you will be briefed before gorilla trekking, the rainforest of Bwindi is thick and is crisscrossed by several animal trails. The duration of the trek will be determined by how far the gorillas would have moved, when you find the gorillas it is an exciting experience and spend an hour with them which will certainly be very memorable experience.
Generally gorillas are peacefully huge yet shy animals, however you will have a chance to take photographs and observe them play, feed and care for their young. After the tracking, you will head to Ishasha sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will have dinner and spend overnight.
Day 4 – Tree climbing lions of Ishasha
After breakfast, you will head to the Ishasa area – the southern region of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive and you will have a chance to see the tree climbing lions lounging on branches of the fig trees, this is a very fascinating to see them resting in the branches of the fig trees. You will have lunch along the way to, Mweya Peninsula where you will have dinner and spend overnight.

Day 5 – Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
Have a cup of coffee and have a game drive in the morning along Kasenyi and Queens Mile to see animals like lions, kobs, elephants, waterbucks, cape buffaloes, spotted hyenas, warthogs and mongooses and various species of birds.
Head back to the lodge for breakfast and rest by the poolside, in the afternoon you will head out for an evening drive to Fort Portal where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 6 – Chimpanzees trekking in Kibale National Park
Have early breakfast and set out on chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest, Kibale supports the largest number of primates in the whole of Uganda. You will have briefing at the park headquarters then head to the starting point, enter into the jungle in search for chimpanzees. The hike through the forest takes approximately 2 to 4 hours or more looking for the chimpanzees, when you locate the chimpanzees you will spend one hour with the chimpanzees watching them go on with their life in the forest. You are allowed to take pictures with the chimpanzees, return to the park headquarters. Meet your guide and head back to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you can head to the Bigodi Village for an encounter with the local people learning about their cultures, traditions and how they spend their life in the forest. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
