MARA BIG FIVE CAMP – MASAAI MARA NATIONAL PARK
Mara big five camp is a mid- range accommodation found right at Talek River , 500m from Talek Gate in the Kenya’s famous Masaai Mara National Park Kenya Region. The camp is situated on the River walk and in the bush areas, 2km from the center (talek village). The camp is convenient and business friendly to travellers/ tourists who want to explore the park with beautiful views of Talek River, Mara Plains, wildlife roaming along the river and surrounding areas. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Serena airstrip then 30 minutes to be transferred to the camp.
Mara Big Five camp consists of 8 spacious and comfortable rooms raised on a wooden deck overlooking Talek River reflecting traditional building styles with modern comfort. Each room is well elevated, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, safari style hot and cold showers, dressing tables, mosquito nets, Televisions, Deck chairs, work Decks, Tables, Free bottled water in the rooms and many others. Each tent has a sitting areas, Private verandas and vanity deck that give a better view over talek river , wildlife roaming around the camp since its not fenced and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing queen sized beds. There is fireplaces at the camp where guests relax as they share stories/experience about the safaris, it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for family as well as individuals ie single bed, double beds, twin, and triple beds . They cost 250$ per night and above, during high season rate is always high than in low season rate

A restaurant in main canvas structure that serves different meals both international ( vegetarians and non- vegetarians) and Kenyan cuisine to meets guests choice and you can have meals in anyplace of you choice either sitting areas ,bush or dining area. Meals offered are English breakfast , picnic lunch and dinners (both in and outdoor dinners) served by well trained, friendly and organized staff ,they also serve bush diners while overlooking the stars in the sky and bush breakfast as you enjoy the sun rise
, A well-stocked bar and lounge with comfortable seats offering variety of refreshments both , local ,cocktail , wines, spirits and international beers, you relax and sip the cocktail while overlooking the breathtaking views over the Mara wilderness , Talek river and surrounding area

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border.
The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
