SHOROA RIVER CAMP – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Shoroa River camp Is an exclusive safari budget accommodation found along the banks of Galana River in the private Galana Conservancy bordering Tsavo East National Park Kenya. The camp is located 100km from the coastal town of Malindi and watamu. The camp is affordable and situated in an ideal place for guests who want to explore the park with the spectacular views of Galana river and lali hills. One can be at the camp by road from Nairobi city taking about 326km and 140km from Mombasa then an hour to fly to the close Voi airstrip them few minutes to be transferred to the camp.
Shoroa River camp consists of 4 comfortable safari style tents with the view of Galana River and the hill that are built in African Traditional style with natural materials of grass thatched roof and local woods. Tents are well raised and furnished with tranquility and en suite private facilities of flushing toilet, separate hot water from the heater , mosquito nets , telephone, free bottled water in the rooms, slippery wooden chairs and tables to mention but a few. Tent s have sitting areas and private veranda for relaxing moments overlooking the stunning view of Galana river ,Lali hills and surrounding areas. Rooms are well equipped with comfortable queen sized beds with clean and washed beddings. There are campfires where guests relax and share stories not only that it also provides warmth to visitors in cold days. The camp offers singles, doubles, twins, triples rooming option with different costs ranging from 100$ per night and above. The room rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low season.

A restaurant is set in the spacious and comfortable veranda with the view of the River that serves different meals both international ( Italian) and African- inspired meals that meets guests choice ; Buffet breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff. You can also have meals in the bush that’s breakfast and dinner.
Sunset bar; A well -stocked bar with variety of refreshment both alcoholic and nonalcoholic ( soda , water, beers , wines etc.), you relax on the river view balcony and sip the drink of your choice while overlooking the spectacular view of Galana River , wildlife that roam around the camp since its not fenced and surrounding area .

Tsavo national park is made of two separate parks located in Kenya Province between Nairobi city and Mombasa, The Park is considered to be among the largest parks in Kenya covering the total area of 22,000km squared. The two different parks in Tsavo national park include; Tsavo east national park which is the oldest and largest park in Kenya found in the semi-arid areas of Taru desert occupying the total area of 13,747 kilometers squared and Tsavo west national park also covers the total area of 9,065 kilometers squared. The Two park are most visited with different categories of accommodations; Budget, Mid- range and Luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to visitors visiting the park.
