SEMADEP MARA CAMP – MASAAI MARA NATIONAL PARK
Semadep mara camp is referred to as a mid accommodations (3 star) situated in a distance of 2km from the main gate Sekenani gate of the Famous range Masaai Mara National Park Kenya. The camp is situated 800 meters off Narok –Sekenani 12 road. The camp is situated on the small Magical hill that offers the most spectacular view of Mara plains and surrounding areas. It takes approximately 4-5 hour drive from Nairobi and 50 minutes to fly from Nairobi to ol-kiombo airstrip then 20km to be transferred to the camp. The camp is convenient and affordable to guests /tourists who want to explore the park with its beautiful views, wildlife and surrounding areas to thrill while on Kenya Wildlife Safaris.
Semadep Mara camp is comprised of 8 spacious and comfortable permanent tents with the view of Mara Plains reflecting traditional local building style. All tents have 2 or 3 single beds, double beds and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, free toiletries , complementary bottled water , slippers in the rooms etc. All tents have sitting areas, you relax while enjoying the spectacular view of mara plains and surrounding area. Rooms are equipped with comfortable clean bedding containing king and queen sized beds.There are campfires where fire glows with comfortable chair, guests relax as they share stories/experience about the Kenya wildlife safaris, in the veranda that provides warmth to visitors staying at the camp. Tents cost 150$ and above depending on the seasons where the rate goes slightly during peak season than low season rate.

A restaurant in the main building that serves yummy meals both international and local meals that meets guests choice ; They offer buffet breakfast , picnic lunch and dines served by well trained, friendly and organized staff . You can have meals either in dining areas and bush breakfast and dinner while enjoying stars in the skys .
A well stocked bar with drinks both hard and soft ( beers, sodas, juice, wines etc . you sip the drink of your choice while on camp fire overlooking the park , animals that come around the camp since its not fenced .

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya ,Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors . Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July ,August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
