SARUNI WILD CAMP – MASAAI MARA NATIONAL PARK
Saruni wild camp is a luxury accommodation found in the plains of the famous Masaai Mara national park bordering lemek conservancy and mara North conservancy in Kenya. The camp is in the remote areas and it has recently relocated to the central in the Heart of Mara ecosystem. Saruni wild camp is the smallest and intimate safari camp in Masaai mara national park Kenya. It takes approximately 4-5 hour drive from Nairobi city to the Camp and 50 minutes to fly from Nairobi to the close Mara North airstrip then 10 minutes’ to be transferred to the camp. The camp is convenient and affordable to guests /tourists who want to explore the park with its beautiful views, wildlife and surrounding areas.
Saruni wild camp is comprised of only 3 spacious and comfortable en –suite tents of which 1 is a family tent and 2 classic doubles with the view of the wilderness reflecting traditional building style. All tents are decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, free toiletries, chairs and tables, complementary bottled water, slippers in the rooms, open safari vehicles, white curtains and duvets etc . All tents have sitting areas and verandas; you relax while enjoying the spectacular view of Mara plains and surrounding area. Rooms are equipped with comfortable clean bedding with king and queen sized beds. There are campfires where fire glows with comfortable chair, guests relax as they share stories/experience about the safaris, in the veranda that provides warmth to visitors staying at the camp. Tents cost 300$ and above depending on the seasons where the rate goes slightly during peak season than low season rate.

A restaurant in the main building that serves yummy meals both international and local meals that meets guests appetite and in place of your choice either in the sitting areas , in the bush (bush breakfast and dinner) overlooking on the stars in the sky or dining area overlooking the wilderness. They offer buffet breakfast, picnic lunch and dines served by well trained, friendly and organized staff.
A well- stocked bar with drinks both hard and soft ( beers, sodas, juice, wines etc . you sip the drink of your choice while on camp fire overlooking the wilderness, animals that come around the camp since its not fenced .

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya ,Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors . Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
