Ol-popongi camp is a mid- range accommodation situated in Naivasha just 11 km from Town ,off the south lake road , 4km from Lake Naivasha on 38 acres of the bushy landscape and flowering shrubs close to Kedong Forest , Kenya Region. The camp is nestled within the thicket of Acacia Trees overlooking the lake front breathtaking views and the Great Rift Valley. You can be at the lodge by road transport taking approximately 2-3 hours’ drive from Nairobi city center to Naivasha town and 50 minutes to fly from Nairobi to the close Naivasha airstrip then few KM to be transferred to the camp.
Ol-Popongi camp Naivasha offers 4 spacious and comfortable rooms with 3 double beds and 1 twin room , it can also be suitable for families/group and an individual built in traditional Kenyan style with grass thatched roofs overlooking the sweeping views of the serene environment and flowering shrubs.
There are also camping grounds for camp lovers and backpackers The camp are well decorated, elevated and furnished with private en-suite facilities of clean flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, Mosquito nets, free bottled water, free toiletries, dressing mirrors, white Duvets , flat screen Tvs , power back up generator and many more facilities. There is large sitting area in the cool acacia trees ,shady front verandas and private wooden balconies overlooking the campgrounds and stunning view over the rift valley escarpment and surrounding areas. The camp is well equipped with excellent and comfortable beds with clean and washed beddings. Naivasha is the large town found in Nakuru county Kenya , lying 93 KM North west of Nairobi .
