The private deck on these birds offers views of the spectacular and breathtaking scenery of Murchison Falls national park.
Deluxe Banda
Nile Safari Lodge has 6 Deluxe Bandas situated is a perfectly secluded hideaway overlooking the majestic River Nile, these Bandas are intimate sanctuary with unique designs and décor and a king-bedroom. These bandas have a high level of luxury and service consisting of a traditional freestanding bathtub, A monsoon high-pressure indoor shower and an outdoor shower designed to offer striking views of the beautiful nature surrounding the bandas. Deluxe Banda’s viewing deck is a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the evening views and the magical sunset.
Deluxe Bandas are offered as Double and Twin for the occupancy of 2-3 people.

Getting to Nile Safari Lodge
Nile Safari Lodge is situated in a distance of 305 kilometers from Kampala the capital of Uganda, to get to the lodge road and air means of transport are used.
By road
By road, transport it is approximately 5 hours from Kampala using various routes including
Kampala – Masindi – Kichumbanyobo Gate – Mubako Gate (Via Park)
Nile Safari lodge is found just outside the borders of Murchison Falls national park on the southern banks of River Nile, from Kampala heading to the park, you drive northwards towards Gulu, then off to Masindi at the River Kafu Junction which is approximately 3 hours’ drive from Kampala.
From Masindi town, you take a turn at opposite the second shell Fuel station on the corner with Masindi Hotel following the Uganda Wildlife Authority signs along the Murram road leading to Kichumbanyobo gate of Murchison Falls national park.
You will drive through the Kaniyo Pabidi section of the Budongo Forest, down the escarpment past the Top of Murchison falls heading to Paraa ferry point.
Before reaching the River Nile at approximately 90-120 minutes drive from Masindi, you make 2 left hand turns and then you will see a large Uganda wildlife Authority sign and a signage for Nile Safari Lodge together with other various facilities in the area. Then turn left and drive past the park’s offices through Mubako Village passing out of the park gate. You will drive straight for approximately 150 meters then take a right turn and after 50 meters you will see the gate.
By Air
Chartered/domestic flights are offered from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi airstrip to various airstrips serving Murchison Falls national park such as Bugungu airstrip which is the closest airstrip to the Nile Safari lodge.
Domestic chartered flights to Nile Safari lodge using Bugungu airstrip are arranged by Aero Link, Eagle airlines among others.
