MWANGA CAMPSITE – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Mwanga campsite is considered to be 2 star budget accommodations found in the central part of a crucial corridor that links Amboseli national park with the chyulu hills and Tsavo protected areas. Mwanga campsite is found in Rombo Loitokitok Kajiado Kenya in Amboseli National park surrounded by acacia trees and water spring offering spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro ( The highest mountain in Africa) to guests since it’s in an ideal place for relaxing holiday and en route stopover . The campsite is under community organization built to support the local community .The campground is within 25 miles of Kimana reserve and 34km from Amboseli national park. You can be at the campsite from Nairobi city center to Amboseli national park in about 4-5 hours’ drive then 27 miles to be transferred to the campsite.
Mwanga campsite offers 9 comfortable accommodations with the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and acacia trees surrounding the areas reflecting local building styles of which 2 are self-contained bandas, 1 luxury self –contained tented banda ,3 budget bandas and 2 beautiful bedroom house. There are also camps for hire especially for camping lovers. Tents/ rooms are well decorated with en -suite facilities of flushing toilets , Mosquito nets , hot/cold separated running showers, complementary bottled water , free toiletries to mention but a few . Rooms have verandas, sitting areas and private balconies overlooking the beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro and wilderness. The campsite offers single beds for individual guests, double/twin beds for 2 people and triple beds for 3 guests or family of 3 members. Rooms have excellent and comfortable beds with clean and washed beddings. Rooms cost 150$ and above per night depending on season where in peak season the price goes slightly high than low season.
