Tented suite

Each tented suite at Mahali Mzuri Hotel has a spacious seating area, an-suite bathroom and a large deck boosting amazing views over the plains of the conservancy, the bathrooms are equipped with a range of Africology products including showegel, shampoo and conditioner. These tents are situated about 10 minute’s walk from the camp’s center. These tents have one king sized beds and they can be twinned upon request.

Family Room with Terrace

Family room with terrace at Mahali Mzuri Hotel are luxury family room with a seating area, mini bar, a private entrance and a deck/terrace boosting views of the reserve.

Hotel Restaurant

Hotel Restaurant at the Hotel offers mouthwatering meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests intending to do an early-morning drive in Maasai Mara national reserve, you can grab a snack before setting off, bush breakfast can also be served. Lunch and dinner at Mahali Mzuri Hotel is served on the main deck boosting stunning views of the plains of the Olare Motorogi Conservancy. In case you miss lunch, you have to wait for dinner and you are fed on afternoon. On some nights, dinners are complimented with entertainment in form of Maasai dancers and a camp fire, steaks are a highlight at the hotel. Bush barbecues and champagnes are served at the hotel

Meals served at The Hotel are prepared from locally sourced produce from local markets and farms.

At Mahali Mzuri, breakfast is served at from 06:00 am to 10:00 am, lunch is served between 12:00 /non=on and 3 pm, afternoon tea is served at 4 pm and dinner is served from 08:00 pm to 10 pm.

Hotel bar “HONESTY BAR”

The bar at Mahali Mzuri Hotel served by local and international brands of alcohol and champagne served by attentive barman, the bar area boosts spectacular views which you will enjoy. Honesty Bar at Mahali Mzuri Hotel is a perfect spot to rest at after a full day of game drive and enjoy the magical sunset, some of the specials served at bar is the Kenyan Dawa a name derived from a Swahili word meaning “Medicine”. The Kenya Dawa is mix of Vodka, lime juice and honey.

SPA

The Nasaro Spa tent at Mahali Mzur Hotel offers therapies and treatments including massages with smooth rose – quartz and amethyst stones, couple sessions are also offered at the spa and all of them are performed using Africology products.

SWIMMING POOL

Swimming pool at the Hotel is a 12 metre, heated outdoor swimming pool, this pool is open to all visitors of the hotel and it is strictly for adult use.

Points to Note

Wheel chair users

The Hotel is not suitable for wheelchair users, one of the tents of the hotel is accessible via a flat pathway from the main house. There are steps in the main building that would need to be crossed in order to reach it which is not suitable for wheel chair users.

Children

Children over 8 years are welcome at the Mzuri Mahali Hotel (this means children below the age of 8 are not welcomed), the hotel has two tents accommodating children on the sofa beds. The hotel offers meals and activities modified to suit young visitors and they are designed for education purposes.

• Beading lessons with a local Maasai tribeswoman are arranged
• Beginner’s archery classes are offered
• Each child is given a bushbaby bag upon arrival, the baby bag is packed with coloring books, nature-trail games and a cap. These are offered to keep the children entertained throughout their stay.

HOW TO GET TO MAHALI MZURI HOTEL

The Hotel set within Kenya’s private Olare Motorogi Conservancy can be reached by road and air means of transport,

By air – domestic chartered flights are offered from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi or Wilson airstrip to the Olare Orok airstrip, these flights are offered by several domestic flight companies such as Safarilink Aviation, Air Kenya and others. Domestic chartered flights to Mahali Mzuri Hotel take about a 1 hour drive to the airstrip and 25 minutes drive to the Hotel.

A private helicopter flight can also be arranged to get to the Hotel

By road – from Nairobi the capital of Kenya, it is a 5 hours drive to get to the Hotel,
