LION HILL LODGE – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Lion Hill lodge is considered to be a mid- range accommodation found in Mlima wa samba ( Swahili name meaning lion hill) adjoining the world’s famous Tsavo East national park Kenya. The lodge is close to the Voi gate of Tsavo offering the magnificent views of the sceneries and wildlife. One can be at the camp by road from Nairobi city taking about 326km and 160km from Mombasa, and 45 minutes to fly to the close voi airstrip them few minutes to be transferred to the camp to thrill while on Kenya Wildlife Tours.
Lion Hill Lodge consists of 12 comfortable and spacious en-suite room of which 8 are luxury rooms and 4 luxury Tents with the view of the hill and wildlife that are built in African Traditional style with natural materials of grass thatched roof and local woods with a comfortable proximity. Both rooms and tents are well furnished , elevated with raised platform and decorated with tranquility, rural feel and en suite private facilities of flushing toilet , hot and cold showers , mosquito nets , free toiletries, slippers in the rooms , free bottled water in the rooms , White duvet and pillows to mention but a few. Tents have sitting areas, verandas and private wooden balconies that gives a stunning view of the Tsavo East national park, hill, wildlife visiting the camp and surrounding areas. Both rooms and tents are well equipped with comfortable beds containing queen sized beds and wooden ceiling fans. There are campfires with comfortable chairs where guests relax and share stories not only that it also provides warmth to visitors in cold days. The camp offers singles, doubles, twins, triples rooming option with different costs ranging from 200$ per night and above. The room rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low season.

Tsavo national park is made of two separate parks located in Kenya Province between Nairobi city and Mombasa, The Park is considered to be among the largest parks in Kenya covering the total area of 22,000km squared. The two different parks in Tsavo national park include; Tsavo east national park which is the oldest and largest park in Kenya found in the semi-arid areas of Taru desert occupying the total area of 13,747 kilometers squared and Tsavo west national park also covers the total area of 9,065 kilometers squared. The Two park are most visited with different categories of accommodations; Budget, Mid- range and Luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to visitors visiting the park.
