KILALINDA LODGE – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Kilalinda lodge is a mid- range accommodation found on the banks of Athi River at the edge/ border of Tsavo East National park Kenya region. The lodge is set on 8,000 acres of Private wildlife overlooking the Yatta Plateau and Mt Kilimanjaro can be seen in the south on the clear day. The lodge is surrounded by the beautiful gardens and wilderness making it the perfect base for Kenya safari adventure and relaxation while listening to africas’ nature sounds. The lodge is situated approximately 4-5 hours drive from Nairobi City center and an hour flight to its own airstrip that is close in about 10 minutes’ drive .
Kilalinda lodge consists of 6 spacious and comfortable cottage each with its own individual characters overlooking yatta plateau and athi River that are built in African Traditional simple style with Shingle roofs. Cottages are fitted with single beds for individuals and double /twin beds for couple or 2people with en –suite tiled bathroom locally hand made with hot showers heated on fire , Four poster beds, stylish hand dyed bed spreads, clean flush toilets , mosquito nets , wooden comfortable chairs and tables , Thick woolen carpets, , free bottled water in the rooms comfortable beds with clean beddings , free toiletries to mention but a few. Cottages have sitting areas and private verandas that give a stunning view of Mt. Kilimanjaro on a clear day , Athi river since some cottages are built along and surrounding areas. Each cottage Is well equipped with comfortable beds containing queen sized poster beds. There is a fireplace where fire glows with comfortable chairs (lounge area) where guests relax and share stories/experience about the Kenya widlife Tour, it also provide warmth to visitors when the weather is chilly. The lodge offers singles beds, doubles, twins rooming options as mentioned above with different costs ranging from 200$ per night and above. The room rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low season.

A main house has a large open circular building with a dining room overlooking the park that serves different meals both international and African- inspired meals to meets guest’s choice. Meals are served in place of your choice either dining area or veranda overlooking the park. They offer buffet breakfast , picnic lunch and dinners served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff and skilled ,they also serve bush barbeque diners while enjoying the stars in the sky and Morning bush Breakfast while enjoying the morning Sunrise.
A well- stocked lounge bar area overlooking both the river and beautiful pool with variety of refreshment both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, you relax in the comfortable sofa seats and sip any drink of your choice while overlooking the breathtaking views of the river and surrounding areas .
A swimming pool with that cools off the hot afternoon, you relax in water while sipping the sundowner that winds up you evening while overlooking the breezes.

Tsavo national park is made of two separate parks located in Kenya Province between Nairobi city and Mombasa, The Park is considered to be among the largest parks in Kenya covering the total area of 22,000km squared. The two different parks in Tsavo national park include; Tsavo east national park which is the oldest and largest park in Kenya found in the semi-arid areas of Taru desert occupying the total area of 13,747 kilometers squared and Tsavo west national park also covers the total area of 9,065 kilometers squared. The Two park are most visited with different categories of accommodations; Budget, mid- range and Luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to visitors visiting the park.
