KICHECHE MARA CAMP – MASAAI MARA NATIONAL PARK
Kicheche Mara Camp is a mid- range classic tented accommodation found in the hidden beautiful acacia valley in the heart of north Mara Conservancy bordering Maasai Mara National Park in Kenya. The camp is situated in the bushes in the prime wildlife areas of the Northern Mara plains giving the best view of the annual wildebeest migration and surrounding areas. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Mara North airstrip then 20 minutes to be transferred to the camp.
Kicheche Mara Camp consists of 8 elegant and comfortable en suites tents set alongside the seasonal stream (orale orok) where one can observe the resident birdlife and wildlife beyond with a family suite with 2 separate bedrooms with en- suite bathrooms. The camp offers king twin, doubles, individual beds (single) and family rooming options. Quad tents are also available at the lodge. The bedrooms are connected by the lounge furnished with sofa chairs and small table for dinning. All tents reflect traditional building style with natural materials and comfort proximity. Each tent is well raised with wooden platform ,decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, inside hot water heated through solar water system and cold showers, mosquito nets, Wooden chairs & Tables, Water dispenser in all tents to refill the bottles in the rooms, free toiletries , pillows and many others. Each tent has sitting areas, veranda with a vintage view point of the valley, Mara Plain and surrounding areas. There are cracking fireplaces at the camp where fire glows with comfortable chairs for guests to relax and share more experience about the Kenya safaris not only that it also provides warmth to visitors during bad weather. They cost 200$ per night and above, during high season rate is always high than in low season rated.

Maasai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
