KICHAKANI CAMP – MASAAI MARA NATIONAL PARK
Kichakani camp is a mid- range accommodation found on the banks of Talek River in the rural areas just next to the major wildebeest crossing point on the edge of the expanse and famous Masaai Mara National Park Kenya. The camp is situated 2km from Olale Orok conservancy with the panoramic views of the Burrungat and the pose plains on its side. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close AIR BASE RUNWAY airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the camp. The camp is convenient and business friendly to tourists, travellers who want to explore the park with its beautiful view of Talek River, wildlife roaming along the river and surrounding areas to thrill while on Kenya Wildlife Tours.
Kichakani camp consists of 20 luxury and comfortable en-suite tents raised on a wooden deck overlooking Talek River and wilderness reflecting traditional building styles with grass thatched roofs modern comfort. Each tent is well elevated with wooden platforms, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, safari style hot and cold showers, dressing tables, mosquito nets, Televisions, Deck chairs, work Decks, Wooden Tables, free toiletries, Free bottled water in the tents and many others. Each tent has sitting areas, Private verandas and vanity deck that give a better view over talek river, wildlife viewing since the camp is in the major crossing point and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing queen sized beds. There are fireplaces at the camp where guests relax and share stories about safaris; it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for family as well as individuals with single bed, double beds, twin, and triple beds . They cost 200$ per night and above, during high season rate is always high than in low season rate

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border.
The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
