Places to visit in Uganda

Kampala central mosque
Kampala central mosque is known as the Gaddafi national located in old Kampala hill and it was gifted to Muslims by colonel Muammar Gaddafi of Libya. It was opened in 2007 after the construction was complete and it was named Gaddafi Mosque until 2013 when it was renamed as the national mosque, today it is the head office for Uganda Muslim community and supreme council apart from being excited by outside and inside, you still have a wonderful experience rather than climbing the minaret which has over 272 steps which will take you 15 minutes to climb. And it gives a chance to see the whole of Kampala with its seven hills.
Bahai Temple
This is this only temple in Africa and the oldest temple and it is represented by 30 tribes in Uganda, unlike other religions in the world, they have specific days of but they just decide on the day they should be meeting and they have three prayer seasons in a day. The temple is visited by many people in Uganda and the world to explore the architectural design, and the natural environment around plus the history behind the temple and why it is called the temple not church.
Independence monument

Ndere cultural centre

Kabaka’s palace
