HI2 ELEPHANT GORGE CAMP – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
H12 Elephant Gorge is a mid- range accommodation (3 STAR) but it can also be used for budget options found in rural location in southeast kenya in Amboseli national park just 2 minutes’ drive and 9 minutes from Kimana Gate. It is the private camp set in exclusive conservation areas with spectacular views of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro and local savannah bushes surrounding the camp. It takes 278km (4 hours) drive from Nairobi via Namanga. The park is big covering 3000 square km area in Kenya and across the borders of Tanzania. You can either be in the park by road or air transport which takes about 240km driving Nairobi -Arusha road through Meshanani gate or 228Km on Nairobi – Mombasa road and 45 minutes flight from Nairobi to close airstrip Amboseli then few minutes to be transferred to the camp to enjoy while on Kenya wildlife tours
H12 Elephant Gorge camp consists of 5 air-conditioned spacious and comfortable rooms with the view of the MT. Kilimanjaro and savannah plain reflecting African traditional building style with stones and local woods. Rooms well raised, decorated and furnished with privacy and tranquility. Each room has its own private en -suite facilities like flushing toilets, Mosquito nets, hot and cold running showers, wooden chairs and tables, complementary bottled water, free toiletries, slippers and other facilities. Rooms have verandas, sitting areas and private wooden balconies with a cozy atmosphere overlooking the panoramic savannah plains view , Mount Kilimanjaro ,and wildlife roaming around the camp . The camp has excellent and comfortable poster bed with clean and washed beddings The camp offers single beds ,double ,twins and family rooming options with different costs ranging from 150$ per night and above. There are campfires where guests relax after a long day and relax as they share stories, and it provides warmth during bad weather.
