FAIRMONT MARA SAFARI  CLUB – MASAAI MARA NATIONAL PARK

Fairmont Mara Safari Club is a mid -range accommodation situated on the foot hills of Aitong Hills in the North west of the Kenya’s wild rich Masaai Mara National park . The club is found 29km away from the park surrounded by Nature and wildlife since it’s the home of great wildebeest migration. One can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai  Mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Ngerende airstrip then 10 minutes to be transferred to the camp. The club is convenient and affordable to travellers, tourists and holiday makers who want to relax and enjoy Kenya safari adventures overlooking the stunning views of the Hippo filled Mara River and surrounding areas.

Fairmont Mara safari Club consists of 51 spacious and comfortable tents raised on a wooden deck overlooking the park reflecting traditional building styles with natural materials of local woods.

Each tent is well elevated on a wooden platform, decorated with timber and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, safari style hot and cold showers, safari buckets, beds wrapped with mosquito nets, Deck chairs, free toiletries, wooden chairs and Tables, Free bottled water in the rooms, solar energy available, white pillows and curtain to mention but a few.  Each tent has a large sitting areas, Private verandas and vanity deck that give a better view over the wilderness, Wildlife roaming around the club since it’s not fenced and surrounding areas.   Tents are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing queen and King sized bed .There is fireplaces at the camp where guests relax as they share stories /experience about the safaris, it also provides warmth to visitors during chill weather. The camp offers tents suitable for family as well as individual’s single bed, double beds, twin, and triple beds. They cost 200$ per night and above, during high season rate is always high than in low season rated

 Fairmont Mara safari club offers more services and facilities which include;

  A restaurant/ dinning areas in main canvas structure that serves different cuisine both international (vegetarians and non- vegetarians) and Kenyan cuisine to meets guests choice and you can have meals in anyplace of your choice sitting areas overlooking the park, bus or dining area. Meals offered are buffet breakfast, picnic lunch and dinners   served by well trained, friendly and organized staff, they also serve bush diner while overlooking the stars in the sky and bush breakfast as you enjoy the sun rise

A well-stocked bar   offering variety of refreshments both, local, cocktail, wines, spirits and international beers, you relax  sip the  sundowner cocktail  while overlooking  the breathtaking views  over the Hippo Filled  Mara River, wildebeest   and surrounding area

Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya to thrill while on Kenya Safari, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
