ELANGATA OLERAI LUXURY TENTED CAMP – MASAAI MARA NATIONAL PARK
Elangata olerai luxury tented camp is a 3 star mid- range accommodation found in the village of ololaimutiek in the heart of the famous Masaai Mara national park the home of over 4 million animals and birds in Kenya .The lodge is situated north east of bologonja bordering the park . The camp is situated in the perfect base for guests/tourists who want to see the park with its beautiful Mara savannah plains and the surrounding hills. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Ol kiombo airstrip then 15km to be transferred to the camp.
Elangata olerai luxury tented camp contains 20 spacious and comfortable en suites tents with the view of Mara Plains and hills. The camp offers wooden king sized twin, doubles, individual beds (single) and family rooming options. There is also camping at the camp with tents for hiring by camping lovers. All tents reflect traditional contemporary building style with natural materials of local woods and comfort proximity. Each tent is well raised, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, inside hot water heated through solar water system and cold showers, mosquito nets, Wooden chairs & Tables, coir carpets , complementary bottled water , free toiletries , Drapped canvas ceiling ,towels, pillows to mention but few. Each tent has sitting areas, private veranda for relaxing moment with also vintage view point of the wildlife roaming at the camp since its not fenced, Mara savannah Plain and surrounding areas. There are cracking fireplaces at the camp where fire glows with comfortable chairs for guests to relax and share more experience about the safaris not only that it also provides warmth to visitors during bad weather. They cost 200$ per night and above, during high season rate is always high than in low season rated.

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .

The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
