AFRIKAS LODGE VOI – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Afrikas lodge Voi is considered to be a mid -range accommodation found in Voi rural areas , 2.3km from Voi bus station , 2 miles from Voi war cemetery ,3 minutes from Moi district Hospitals and 6 minutes from Tsavo East National park Kenya region. The lodge is located 160 km From Mombasa. One can be at the lodge from Nairobi by road taking about 5-6 hour’s drive (326 km), an hour and half to fly from Nairobi to the close Voi airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the lodge. The lodge is convenient, business friendly and located in the perfect location overlooking the vast expanse of African bush and herds of animal roaming beneath the lodge.
Afrikas lodge Voi consists of 30 spacious and comfortable en-suite rooms with the view of the wilderness built in African Traditional style with natural materials and high levels of comfort. Rooms are well furnished and decorated with tranquility and en suite private facilities of flushing toilet , hot and cold showers/bathtubs , mosquito nets , flat screen TVs , satellites , chairs and tables , extinguishers, free bottled water in the rooms , free toiletries to mention but few .
Rooms have sitting areas, verandas and private balconies that give a stunning view of the wilderness and surrounding areas. Rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds containing queen sized beds and wooden ceiling fans. Rooms are in different sizes with singles bed with individuals, doubles beds for couples / twins, and family rooming options with different costs ranging from 200$ per night and above. The room rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low season.

Meals offered include Continental breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner in the main building served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff, they also serve bush diners.

Tsavo national park is made of two separate parks located in Kenya Province between Nairobi city and Mombasa, The Park is considered to be among the largest parks in Kenya covering the total area of 22,000km squared. The two different parks in Tsavo national park include; Tsavo east national park which is the oldest and largest park in Kenya found in the semi-arid areas of Taru desert occupying the total area of 13,747 kilometers squared and Tsavo west national park also covers the total area of 9,065 kilometers squared. The Two park are most visited with different categories of accommodations; Budget, Mid- range and Luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to visitors visiting the park.
