DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer to Gulu/ Kitgum
Kampala/ Entebbe to Gulu/ Kitgum: The 1st day of your 8 Days Uganda Safari tour (Kidepo, Murchison & Kibale) will set off either from Kampala / Entebbe with a hotel or airport pick up by our experienced safari driver/ guide who will brief you about this adventurous safari as you set off on a drive to Gulu/ Kitgum. This is done in order to cut the long journey drive to Kidepo valley national park. You will therefore spend your first night of the safari in Gulu/ Kitgum.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo valley national park
Transfer to Kidepo valley national park: After breakfast at your hotel in Gulu, check out of the hotel and start the 2nd day of your 8 Days Uganda Safari tour (Kidepo, Murchison & Kibale) with a 3-4 hours’ drive to Kidepo valley national park through the rolling Karamoja hills, homesteads and many other fascinating and scenic views of different attractions. Upon park arrival, you will be welcomed by the undiscovered stunning vegetation cover that harbor plenty of wildlife species. Proceed to check in your lodge for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive to view several animals in the park including Zebras, Hartebeests, Elephants, Buffaloes, lions, Cheetahs, and many more. As the sun goes down, you will be returned to your lodge for dinner and have an overnight sleep.

Day 3: Full day in Kidepo valley national park
Full day game viewing: After breakfast on the 3rd day of 8 Days Uganda Safari tour (Kidepo, Murchison & Kibale), you will head out for the full day game viewing in the plains of Kidepo valley national park where you will full explore the largest part of the park including the Narus valley. Be sure to encounter as many animals as possible. Lunch will be enjoyed as picnic lunch and later in the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest as above.

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
Kidepo valley national park to Murchison falls national park: Day 4 of 8 Days Uganda Safari tour (Kidepo, Murchison & Kibale) tour is full day drive to Murchison falls national park thus lunch will be enjoyed enroute and upon arrival, you will only check in your lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full day in Murchison falls national park
Full day adventure in Murchison falls national park: Wake up early in the morning for breakfast at your lodge on the 5th day of 8 Days Uganda Safari tour (Kidepo, Murchison & Kibale), then meet your safari driver for an early morning game drive in the plains of Murchison falls national park, the Murchison waterfalls and many animals such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, African elephants, warthogs, zebras, bush pigs and birds. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch and return for an afternoon boat cruise at the Jet Paraa taking you upstream to the bottom of the most powerful waterfall. While on the boat cruise, you will enjoy the thunderous sound of the Murchison falls, watch many animals such as elephants, buffaloes and many animals along the banks of the river. Then head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale forest national park
Murchison falls national park to Kibale forest: day 6 of 8 Days Uganda Safari tour (Kidepo, Murchison & Kibale) is set aside for a full day drive. Enjoy your morning breakfast then check out and be driven to Kibale forest national park a home to over 13 primate species. Lunch will be enjoyed enroute along the way and upon arrival, you will check in your lodge for a relaxed dinner and night rest.

Day 7: Chimpanzee trekking and guided nature walk
Chimpanzee trekking: Arise from the comfort of your bed early in the morning for breakfast as you get ready to spend an hour with Chimpanzees on a chimpanzee trekking safari in the wilderness of Kibale forest national park. Before embarking on Chimpanzee trekking on day 7 of 8 Days Uganda Safari tour (Kidepo, Murchison & Kibale), you will be briefed by experience rangers then head into the forests in search for chimpanzee troop that has been habituated and used to humans. While in the forest you will as well encounter with other park dwellers like other primates such as white and black colobus monkeys, baboons, L’Hoest’s monkeys, grey checked monkeys and different species of birds. When you find the chimpanzees you will be allowed to stay for one while taking pictures and watching chimpanzee play on tree tops.
Bigodi nature walk: After the experience you will exit the forest and return to your lodge for lunch after which you will return to the jungle for an afternoon guided nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary one of the best birding spots in Uganda. You will be able to encounter other primates, plenty of bird species and many more. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest as above as you close the 7th day of your safari.

Day 8: Transfer back to Kampala
Kibale forest national park to Kampala: This is the last day of your 8 Days Uganda Safari tour (Kidepo, Murchison & Kibale). Depending on your departure details, you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your lodge after which you will check out and embark on a 6 hours road drive to Kampala/ Entebbe for hotel or airport drop off.
