Detailed itinerary of 8 days kenya wildlife safari
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Arusha city
On your arrival in Kenya at Jomo Kenyatta International airport you will be picked by your safari driver-guide and transfer to your hotel in Nairobi, if you have time you will go for a short city tour visiting sites like David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Nairobi national park and many more. In the evening you will head to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Amboseli national park
After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi you will be picked by your safari driver and embark on a journey to Amboseli national park the 2nd popular Kenya game viewing safari destination. Amboseli national park is a scenic destination endowed with spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro the tallest free standing mountain on the African continent. On your arrival in the park you will check into your lodge for lunch and rest for a while as you prepare for an afternoon game drive, in the game drive you will enjoy watching the large herds of elephants, lions, cape buffaloes and many more. Later you will return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Full day in AMBOSELI
Wake early for morning breakfast then head to the park with your packed lunch for a full day of game drive on morning and afternoon game drive exploring the park, on the game drive you will enjoy watching a number of animals inhabiting in the park such as large herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, gazelles, elands, lions, leopards and many more.
You are to have picnic lunch then go for another game drive, in the evening you will return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Samburu national park
After morning breakfast at your lodge, you will checkout and go on en-route game drive as you exit Amboseli national park and embark on a journey to Samburu national reserve, the reserve is a wildlife haven hosting a number of wildlife species including the big five (lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards and rhinos). Other animals found in this reserve include Maasai and reticulated giraffes, hippos, plain zebras, Grevy’s zebra, Aardwolf, Aardvark and many more.
When you arrive in the reserve you will check into your lodge for lunch and rest for a while as you prepare to go for an afternoon game drive on which you will spot a number of animals. After the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Full day game drive in Samburu
after early breakfast at your lodge, you will leave for the reserve with your packed lunch for a full day of game drive on morning and afternoon game drive, on these game drives offer a chance to explore the reserve and watch many animals and birds residing in the reserve. Animals you should expect to see include lions, leopards, hippos, giraffes, elephants, African hare, zebras, giraffes and birds such as Abdim’s Stork African Darter African Grey Hornbill African Fish Eagle African Harrier Hawk African Openbill African Spoonbill African White Backed Vulture Bateleur Black Chested Snake Eagle Black Headed Heron Black-Winged Kite Coqui Francolin Egyptian Goose Fisher’s Sparrow Lark Green Wood Hoopoe and many more.
At lunch you will have picnic kind of lunch set at any of the picnic sites in the reserve, after the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: transfer to Maasai Mara national reserve
After breakfast at your lodge, you will checkout and embark on as journey to Maasai Mara national reserve the most popular Kenya wildlife viewing destination. You will reach in the reserve in time for lunch which you will have at your lodge after checking-in then rest as you prepare for an evening game drive. On the evening game drive you will have a chance to watch many nocturnal animals and predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, African dogs using a spot light. After the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight

Day 7: Morning and afternoon game drive in Maasai Mara
you will wake up early at the break of the dawn and head to the reserve for an early morning game drive on which you will watch a number of animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, wildebeests, gazelles, elands, African dogs, cheetahs as they are just waking up. You will also enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the rolling plains of Maasai Mara, after the game drive you will head back to your lodge for late breakfast and wait for lunch. After lunch you will return to the reserve for an afternoon game drive visiting other regions of the reserve.
In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8: Transfer back to Nairobi
After morning breakfast you will checkout of your lodge and with en-route game drive you will say goodbye to Maasai Mara national reserve and embark on a journey back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for your departure flight back home.
