DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable national park: On the first day of your 7 days Uganda Safari to Kibale, Queen & Bwindi, you will be picked from Entebbe International airport on your arrival or at your hotel in Kampala after breakfast by your safari driver-guide, at the pick up your safari driver will give a short safari briefing then embark on an 8-9 hours’ drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park found in the South Western region of Uganda. On your way you will have a stopover at the local drum and craft making community to witness how the beautiful craft pieces are made, then at the equator for the beautiful pictures and Mbarara for lunch. Proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park arriving in the evening, check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking- Bwindi Forest
Uganda Gorilla trekking Bwindi: Wake up early in the morning breakfast at your lodge on the 2nd day of your 7 days Uganda Safari to Kibale, Queen & Bwindi then drive to the park’s headquarters for briefing experience by a senior ranger marking the start of your mountain gorilla trekking experience. You will be assigned a mountain gorilla family to trek then head for a 2 -8 hours hike through the forests ad back looking for mountain gorillas, with the guidance of a professional ranger who knows better where to find the gorillas you will locate the gorillas and when you do so you are allowed to stay in the presence of the gorillas for one hour. In the period of one hour you will enjoy watching these gentle giants picking fruits and leaves, watching over their kids and get to take pictures as long as your flashlight is off. While on this experience you will have a period of resting to have your lunch while in the forests of Bwindi meaning you bring your packed lunch with you. Later you will trek back, receive your trekking permits then head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth national park: After early breakfast at your lodge on day 3 of 7 days Uganda Safari to Kibale, Queen & Bwindi, check out and start on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park with a packed lunch box. On your way, you will have an enroute game drive in Ishasha sector a home to the mighty tree climbing lions. You will be rewarded with an encounter with other wildlife species that thrill in this sector of Queen. After this game drive, proceed your journey to check in your lodge for dinner and have an overnight sleep.

Day 4: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise: Wake Up early have a cup of coffee at your lodge on day 4 of 7 days Uganda safari to Kibale, Queen & Bwindi then head to the park for a an early morning game drive using various trails crossing through the park’s savannah plains such as Kasenyi trail, while during on the Kasenyi plains you will have an opportunity to watch many animals such as waterbucks, Uganda kob, elephants, lions, warthogs and various bird species such as herons, cattle egrets, malachite kingfishers. Then return to your lodge for late breakfast, rest as you wait for lunch. After lunch you go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel connecting Lake Edward to Lake George, while on the boat cruise you will enjoy watching many birds such as malachite kingfishers, shoe bills and animals such as schools of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes on the banks of the channel. Return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale forest national park
Queen Elizabeth national park to Kibale forest national park: Wake up in the morning on day 5 of 7 days Uganda safari to Kibale, Queen & Bwindi, have your relaxed breakfast then checkout of your lodge and head to Kibale forest national park a home to over 13 primate species. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge for lunch and choose to have your evening at leisure or have a visit to the Crater Lakes or Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi nature walk
Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi nature walk: Have morning breakfast at your lodge on day 6 of 7 days Uganda safari to Kibale, Queen & Bwindi, then head to the forests of Kibale for a chimpanzee tracking experience. Before the experience you will be briefed by an experience guide then head into the forests in search for chimpanzees, on the search for the chimpanzee you will watching many birds and other primates such as white and black colobus monkeys, baboons, L’Hoest’s monkeys, grey checked monkeys and different species of birds. When you find the chimpanzees you will be allowed to stay for one while taking pictures and watching chimpanzee play on tree tops. After the experience you will exit the forest and return to your lodge for lunch.
Bigodi nature walk: Later in the afternoon return to the forest on a guided nature walk spotting plenty of fauna and flora species in this wetland. This Bigodi is known for harboring plenty of water birds and other wildlife.

Day 7: Return to Kampala for departures
Kibale forest national park to Kampala: After breakfast on day 7 of 7 days Uganda safari to Kibale, Queen and Bwindi, you will check out of the lodge and meet your driver for a journey back to Kampala where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at Entebbe International airport for your departure flight back home.
