DETILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival and Nairobi City tour
Welcome to Kenya: Upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta international airport on day 1 of 7 days Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara & Nairobi city safari, you will be met and welcomed into Kenya by our experienced safari driver/ guide who will brief you about this 1 week adventure in Kenya as you connect to your reserved hotel in the City. You will relax abit and later in the afternoon embark on a Nairobi city tour to explore different attractions in the city. During this Nairobi city tour, you will visit the Snake Park, giraffe center, Elephant orphanage and Stedmark gardens and finally return to your hotel for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 2: Transfer to Aberdare National Park
Nairobi to Aberdare national park: After breakfast on the 2nd day of 7 days Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara & Nairobi city safari, you will check out of the lodge and set off on a drive to heading north to the Mountainous highlands of Kenya to the Aberdare Mountain Ranges. When you arrive in the Aberdare national park, you will check into your lodge for lunch then head for an afternoon game drive on which you will enjoy watching many animals such as rhinos, black and white colobus monkeys, reedbucks, hyenas, buffaloes, olive baboons, elephants and many more. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Aberdare national park to Lake Nakuru national park: Your morning in the wilderness of Aberdare national park starts with a cup of coffee or tea on day 3 of 7 days Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara & Nairobi city safari then after breakfast you will checkout and with enroute game drive you will exit the park heading on a drive to Lake Nakuru national park. On your way you will enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley and when you arrive in the park, you will check into your lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a game drive. Lake Nakuru national park is a very rewarding birding destination popularly known for habiting large numbers of pink flamingoes on the shores of the Lake Nakuru, the park is also famous for habiting many animals including black and white rhinos, lions, zebras, giraffes and many more which you will enjoy watching on an afternoon game drive. After the game drive you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 4: Transfer from Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha
Lake Nakuru national park to Lake Naivasha: After morning breakfast at your lodge at your own leisure on day 4 of 7 days Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara & Nairobi city safari, you will head to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride, Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in the rift valley and one of the amazing Kenya birding destination. The Lake is a habitat for over 400 bird species which you will enjoy watching such as Fulvous Whistling-Duck, White-backed Duck, Egyptian Goose, Common Swift, Nyanza Swift, and African Rail among others. After the boat ride you will head back to your lodge for lunch and then lounge around your lodge either take a swim or go back to the lake for a swim. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara national reserve: After morning breakfast on day 5 of 7 days Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara & Nairobi city safari, you will checkout of your lodge and head on en-route game drive as you exit Lake Nakuru national park heading to Maasai Mara national reserve one of the 9th wonders of the world and a renowned Kenya safari destination. Maasai Mara national reserve is famously known for the great wildebeest migration specifically the river crossing as the wildebeests cross Mara River to enter the plains of Maasai Mara dominated by woodland savannah grassland. On your arrival, you will check into your lodge, have lunch and then go for an afternoon game drive on which you will have an amazing time exploring the reserve. On the game drive you will enjoy watching many animals such as lions, elephants, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, cheetahs and many more. After the game drive you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 6: Full day in Maasai Mara National Game Reserve- Optional Hot air balloon
Full day excursion in Maasai Mara national reserve: After morning breakfast at your lodge on day 6 of 7 days Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara & Nairobi city safari, you will leave your lodge with your packed lunch and head to the plains of Maasai Mara national reserve for a full day game drive (morning and afternoon game drive). On the full day game drive in the plains of Maasai mara national reserve, you will have an opportunity to fully explore the plains of reserve and watching a variety animals inhabiting in the reserve such as lions, wildebeests, zebras, rhinos, cheetahs, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, gazelles, African dogs and many more. You will have picnic form of lunch set at one of the picnic sites along the banks of Mara River where you will enjoy your mouthwatering meals together with scenic views of the rolling plains, animals and birds. After lunch, you will head for another game drive and in the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 7: Transfer back to Nairobi for drop
Maasai Mara national reserve to Nairobi: After morning breakfast at your lodge on day 7 of 7 days Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara & Nairobi city safari, you will bid farewell to the fascinating landscapes of Maasai Mara national reserve with enroute game drive heading to Nairobi where you will be dropped off either at your lodge or at the airport for your departure flight back home.
