Detailed itinerary of 6 days Masai Mara and Northern Serengeti – Great Migration safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara national Reserve
On the first day of the safari, you will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi as early as 07:00 am or at the airport upon arrival. You safari driver will give a short safari briefing and depart for a trip south along the Great Rift Valley’s floor, you will have a stop at the view point for breath-taking view of the rift valley and the escarpments, you will also be able to purchase some souvenirs in Narok Town.
Arrive in the park in Afternoon for lunch at your lodge, then head to plains for an afternoon game drive offering you an opportunity to spot various animals such as lions, elephants, gazelles, cheetahs, African wild dogs among others. Later head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2-3: Full day Masai Mara
On these two days of 6 days Masai Mara and Northern Serengeti – Great Migration safari you will be exploring Masai Mara national reserve and following the great migration herds. Masai Mara national reserve is a home to a diverse range of animals including Masai giraffes, olive baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, gray jackals, impala, and hartebeest among others. You will also be able to see large herds of wildebeests in the plains of Masai Mara.
The annual wildebeest migration occurs in Masai Mara national reserve in July and August wwhen millions of grazers move north from north of Serengeti in search for greener pastures before returning south in October. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Serengeti national park.
After early breakfast, you will checkout of your lodge and with your packed lunch you will embark on a 3 hours drive to Tanzanian border at Isebania. When you arrive in at the border you will process your visa and enter into Tanzania, your Tanzania driver guider will be waiting for you then proceed to Serengeti national park arriving in the afternoon. With en-route you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full day Serengeti
Have breakfast and with your packed lunch head for a full day game drive of exploring this endless park, Serengeti is the most beautiful national park in Tanzania and during the game drive you will be able to see huge herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, antelopes such as topis, impalas, grant’s gazelles among others. You will also see the big cats that is leopards, lions and cheetahs among others. Later head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Departure
Depending on your flight schedule, you will have breakfast and head on a drive to Arusha where you will dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
