DETAILED ITINERARY OF 5 DAYS KENYA MAASAI MARA AND LAKE NAKURU SAFARI
Day 1: Transfer to Maasai Mara national reserve
At 08:00hrs in the morning you will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi, at your pick up your guide will take you through what to expect on the safari then embark on a journey to Maasai Mara national reserve.
Maasai Mara national reserve is a world renowned Kenya wildlife destination known for habiting a large population of wildlife including the big 5 and the great wildebeest migration when millions of wildebeests, Thomson and grant gazelles and zebras cross from Serengeti national park to Maasai Mara national reserve.
On your way you will have a stopover for a photo session and view of the escarpment in scenic Great Rift Valley, another stopover will be in Narok Town for lunch and get an opportunity to purchase beautiful crafts.
From the town you will proceed to the reserve and on your arrival you will embark on an evening game drive for watching predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs and among others. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 2 & 3: full day in Masai Mara
On Day 2 and Day3 of 5 days Kenya Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru safari you will spend these days exploring Maasai Mara national reserve, on these 2 days you will wake up early for breakfast then drive to Maasai Mara plains for full day game viewing.
On the game drives you will enjoy watching many animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeest, elands, gazelles, elephants, cape buffaloes, Nile crocodiles among others. At lunch you will have picnic lunch set at one of the beautiful picnic sites along the banks of Mara River, then go for another game drive.
On these 2 days you have an option of doing cultural visits to the Maasai Village and hot air balloon safari on an extra charge. In the evening you will transfer back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru
After morning breakfast you will checkout of your lodge and with en-route game drive you will exit the reserve and embark on your journey to Lake Nakuru national park arriving in perfect time for lunch, Lake Nakuru national park is a perfect destination for Kenya birding safaris and is a home to the largest population of black and white rhinos in Kenya.
On you arrival in the park, you will check into your lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a game drive spotting a number animals such as black and white rhinos, elands, giraffe, zebras and many more. After the game drive you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Overnight: Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge / Flamingo Hill Camp

Day 5: transfer back to Nairobi
After morning breakfast at your lodge, you will pack your bags, checkout and head to Lake Nakuru for a morning boat ride. On the boat ride you will an opportunity to enjoy the cool breeze of the lake and watch many birds on the shores of the lake such as millions of flamingoes creating a pink hue, cormorants, pelicans and many more. Then head on a drive back to Nairobi, on your arrival you will be dropped off either at your lodge or at the airport for your departure park home.
End of the safari
