Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Depart from Kampala early in the morning, have breakfast and head on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park situated in the South Western region of Uganda, this park is a home for the endangered Mountain gorillas hosting half of the world’s total population. On your way you will enjoy spectacular views of Uganda’s landscape, have a stopover at the equator landmark for a photo session and other stopover in Mbarara for lunch. Then proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park arriving in evening, as you enter the park you will enjoy rolling green hills. On your arrival you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: mountain gorilla trekking experience
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and head to the park with your packed lunch for a mountain gorilla trekking experience, while in the park you will have briefing at the park’s headquarters where a professional guide will take you through the rules and regulations to follow during this experience. Mountain gorilla trekking experience starts as early as 08:00 am, be assigned a mountain gorilla group to trek and head into the forests of Bwindi in search for mountain gorillas.
This experience takes about 2 to 8 hours, while searching for mountain gorillas you have an opportunity to spot many primates living forests, birds and when you find the gorillas you will be allowed to stay in their presence for 1 hour. While in the presence of the gorillas you will watch the gorillas take pictures, pick fruits and leaves and take amazing pictures. After the experience you will trek back to the park’s headquarters, pick you’re your trekking certificates and head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Have breakfast at your lodge then checkout and set off on a journey to Kibale Forest national park a famous primate capital hosting the largest population of chimpanzees and other 12 species of primates including olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys and many more. On your way to Kibale national park you will enjoy the splendid scenery of Kibale, have a stopover for lunch arriving in late evening. On your arrival you will check into your lodge, have dinner and say overnight preparing for tomorrow’s chimpanzee tracking experience.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and departure
Have morning breakfast at your lodge, then head to the forests of Kibale for a chimpanzee tracking experience. Before the experience you will be briefed by an experience guide then head into the forests in search for chimpanzees, on the search for the chimpanzee you will watching many birds and other primates such as white and black colobus monkeys, baboons, L’Hoest’s monkeys, grey checked monkeys and different species of birds. When you find the chimpanzees you will be allowed to stay for one while taking pictures and watching chimpanzee play on tree tops. After the experience you will exit the park and set off on a journey to back to Kampala where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at Entebbe International airport for your departure flight back home.
