Detailed Itinerary of 4 days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari
Day 1: Pick up from Airport and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On your arrival in Kigali at Kigali international Airport you will be picked up by your safari driver-guide then be transferred to Kigali city, Rwanda’s capital city for a city visiting various genocide memorial sites, art galleries and many other beautiful sites.
Later you will embark on a journey to Volcanoes national park, check into your lodge on you arrive, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes national park
Have early breakfast at your lodge then head to volcanoes national park for a mountain gorilla trekking experience, before the experience begins you will undergo a briefing sessions where rules and regulations will be read to you. Then be assigned a gorilla group to trek then head into the thick forests of volcanoes national park, as you trek through the forests on this thrilling experience you will enjoy amazing views of the Virunga volcanoes, various species of birds and the beautiful flora species. When you find the mountain gorillas you spend one hour in the presence of these gentle creatures, watch them take amazing pictures as long as your flash light is off then head back to your lodge for late lunch. In the evening you will go for a walk in the near- by community. Return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Golden monkey tracking and Dian Fossey tomb visit
Have early breakfast then head to the park for a golden monkey tracking experience, you will be briefed about the experience by a ranger then head into the forests tracking for the golden monkeys with a help of a park ranger. Golden monkeys are very interesting animals and when you find them you are offered one hour of staying in their presence watching them play, move around trees and feed. You will also take beautiful pictures as long as your flashlight is off then trek back to your lodge for lunch, after lunch you will go for an optional Dian Fossey tomb visit.
During this experience you will visit the tomb of Dian Fossey an American primatologist who dedicated to researcher and learn more about the conservation of the endangered mountain gorillas. Dian Fossey was killed and buried amidst the gorillas who she loved so much. Later you will return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Kigali city tour- Departure
After enjoying breakfast at your lode, you will checkout and transfer to Kigali city where you will have an optional city tour visiting places like markets, hand craft shops, national museums and many more. Later have lunch and then be dropped off either at your hotel or the airport for your departure flight back home after your Rwanda Safari.
