Detailed Itinerary of 3 days Tanzania safari to Tarangire & Ngorongoro
Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Have breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, meet your safari driver, have a short briefing about the safari and start a 2 hours journey to Tarangire national park one of the most undiscovered national park in Tanzania. Tarangire national park is situated in the northern Tanzania safari circuit near Lake Manyara, the park is famously known for the Tarangire River flowing through the park.
You are to arrive in the park in the afternoon time for lunch which you will have after checking into your lodge then go for a game drive searching for many animals such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, African wild dogs, giraffes, buffaloes, coke’s hartebeests and many more. Later return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: From Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Have breakfast at your lodge, then go for the last game drive in Tarangire plains dotted with the spectacular baobab trees and spot many animals such as lions, cheetahs, African wild dogs, elephants and many more. After the game drive you will head back to your lodge for lunch then checkout and embark on a journey to Ngorongoro conservation area arriving in the evening, after checking into your lodge, you will head to the Ngorongoro crater for an evening game drive searching for nocturnal animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, African wild dogs using a spot light. After the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Departure back to Arusha
After breakfast at your lodge, you will descend to the crater floor for a game drive watching a number of animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, elands, gazelles, rhinos and many more. After the game drive you will have lunch and then embark on a journey back to Arusha, in Arusha you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight.
Departure from Ngorongoro caldera in the morning and view the different wildlife within the crater floor. This crater is called “Africa’s Eden” as well as the 8th Natural wonder of the World. The massive extinct volcano as well as the sheet walls drop thousands of feet to a Noah’s Ark of animals which are found on the verdant floor below, there are buffalos, herds of Zebras, antelopes, wildebeest, lions. At dawn there are also the endangered black Rhino which returns to the thick cover of the crater forests that graze on the laden grass in the morning mist.
