Queen Elizabeth national park is classified among the most diverse ecosystems in Uganda encompassing dazzling lakes, Kazinga channels, extensive savannah plains, humid forests and lush wetlands. Detailed itinerary of 3 days Queen Elizabeth safari
Day 1: travel to Queen Elizabeth national park
Wake up early for breakfast at your hotel in Kampala then you will be picked from up by your guide at exactly 7:30 am and after a short briefing about the safari then embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth national park which is a journey of about 6 hours. On your way you will have a few stopovers at the equator for monumental photos and in Mbarara for lunch, then proceed to the park enjoying the spectacular landscaped characterized of open grasslands, tea plantations, rift valley escarpments and various woodland covers.
Arrive in the park in the evening, check into your lodge then go an evening game drive looking for predators such as lions, leopards using a spot. After the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: morning game drive and afternoon boat safari
Wake Up early have a cup of coffee at your lodge then head to the park for a an early morning game drive using various trails crossing through the park’s savannah plains such as Kasenyi trail, while during on the Kasenyi plains you will have an opportunity to watch many animals such as waterbucks, Uganda kobs, elephants, lions, warthogs and various bird species such as herons, cattle egrets, malachite kingfishers. Then return to your lodge for late breakfast, rest as you wait for lunch. After lunch you go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel connecting Lake Edward to Lake George , while on the boat cruise you will enjoy watching many birds such as malachite kingfishers, shoe bills and animals such as schools of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes on the banks of the channel. Return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: departure
Wake up a little late than the last 2 days, have your breakfast then checkout of your lodge and head to the park for a short primate walk encountering primates like chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys then exit the park and embark on a journey back to Kampala.
On your way you will have a stopover at Mpambire drum centre to witness how drums are made by the locals then another stopover for lunch the proceed to Kampala where you will be dropped off either at the hotel or at the airport.
