Queen Elizabeth national park is named after the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II after her visit to the park in 1952, the park is dominated by diverse habitats which makes it a home to numerous bird species of wildlife, birdlife, reptiles and amphibians.
On this Uganda safari expect to see a variety of wildlife such as lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, antelopes among others.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
To start your safari, you will be picked from your hotel in Entebbe or upon arrival at Entebbe International airport upon arrival by our safari driver-guide, he will give you a short briefing about what to expect and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Along the way, you will have a stopover at the Equator landmark in Kayabwe for pictures, demonstration of water and buy crafts and vegetables and fruits and also stand in both the southern and northern hemispheres.

Along the journey, you will enjoy the country side of the Uganda, have lunch in Mbarara t Igongo cultural museum – the home of Ankore culture. You will arrive in the park in the late evening, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Alternatively, you can take a flight from Entebbe International Airport to Mweya airstrip which will shorten your trip and this way you will have an afternoon game drive or a boat safari or a community tour.

Day 2: Game drive and boat safari on Kazinga channel
Enjoy the wilderness of Queen Elizabeth National Park- you will wake up early for breakfast and head to the savannah plains of the park which is a home to the highest biodiversity found in any protected area in East Africa. You will have an early morning game drive along the Kasenyi plains where you will spot predators and grazers such as lions, leopards, antelopes, cape buffaloes, bush pigs, African wild dogs among others.
You will then head back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will head to the Kazinga channel for a boat cruise, the channel connects Lake Edward to Lake George and it is a home to a large population of hippos. The boat cruise offer an excellent opportunity to abundant wildlife including hippos, cape buffaloes and elephants which flock the river to drink water, Nile crocodiles and numerous bird species such as herons, egrets, crested cranes among others.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala/ Entebbe
After breakfast, you will checkout of your lodge and with en-route game drive, you will bid Queen Elizabeth national park farewell and transfer back to Kampala with a batch of memories to live with you forever.
Along the way you will have lunch and when you arrive in Kampala, you will be dropped off either at the hotel or at the airport.
