Day 1: Diani Beach – Tsavo East National Park
To start off your safari your Focus East Africa Tours safari – driver will pick up at your resort or lodge in Diani Beach as early as 06:00 am in a private Land Cruiser or a safari. Then drive to Tsavo East National park on a Mombasa – Nairobi Highway famously known as the Explorers’ Route. Along the way you will enjoy views of the sun as it breaks.
On arrival in Tsavo East national park, you will be welcomed by the endless plains of the park, the big open sky and an abundance of wildlife. You will have lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon you will go for a game drive in which you will be able to spot animals such as lions, leopards, antelopes, cape buffaloes, antelopes, hippos, crocodiles among others. In the late afternoon you will enjoy the glowing African sunset as we head back to your safari lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West
You will wake up early before dawn ready to enjoy the sunrise as the park comes to live with wildlife such as waterbuck, gerenuk, Cape buffalo and giant elephants. Then you will return to the lodge for breakfast, checkout and set off on a short drive to the rolling green hills of Tsavo West in contrast to the rugged terrain. Tsavo West national park is a home to abundance of wildlife including rhinos found in the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, the rhinos are endangered species but they are well protected and natured in the sanctuary with the hopes of increasing their number. You will have lunch at the lodge on arrival and in the afternoon you will go for a game drive seeing many animals such as rhinos, elephants, gazelles, wildebeests among others. In the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Diani Beach
Today is the final day of the safari and in Tsavo West national park, you will rise early for a cup of coffee and head to the plains of the park for a game drive, you will be able to see many early risers, visit the Mzima Springs- a lush palm-shaded oasis. At the springs, you will be able to move out of the vehicle and explore on foot, lookout for unique migratory birds and exotic fish. You will also come across crocodiles and hippos thriving in the millions of gallons of fresh water that feeds the spring.
You will also explore the red dusty plains, green rolling hills, savannahs and springs. After the exploration you will have lunch then embark on a journey to Diani Beach where you will be dropped off at your beach resort or hotel.
