Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National park
Kigali to Nyungwe forest national park: Your 3 days Chimpanzee trekking & Canopy walk safari starts early in the morning on the 1st day with a pick up either direct from Kigali International Airport or from your hotel in Kigali. Meet and greet then set off on your journey to Nyungwe forest national park one of the top 3 destinations to explore while on a Rwanda safari. This journey takes about 6-7 hours’ drive with an enroute lunch and stopover along some attractions like the Nyanza palace. You will enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, tea plantations and many more as you proceed to Nyungwe forest. Upon arrival, you will check in your reserved lodge for dinner and overnight sleep at Gisakura guest house (Budget)/ Nyungwe Top View Hotel (Mid-Range)/ Nyungwe Forest Lodge (Luxury).

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walks in Nyungwe forest national park
Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest: Have early breakfast on the 2nd day of 3 days Chimpanzee trekking & Canopy walk safari then proceed to the park headquarters to meet other trekkers for a chimpanzee trekking experience. You will be briefed about the experience then head into the forest of Nyungwe to enjoy this adventurous forest walk to search for the habituated chimpanzees. When you find these Chimpanzees, you will have one hour of watching these beautiful creatures playing, feeding, breastfeeding and roaming the forest. After the one hoe has elapsed, exit the forest back to your lodge for lunch.
Canopy walk: After lunch still on day 2 of 3 days Chimpanzee trekking & Canopy walk safari, you will return to the park for an afternoon canopy walk on the canopy suspended about 50M high above the tree tops, on this walk you will enjoy watching chimpanzees, numerous species of birds such as sun birds and the neighboring areas. Day 3: Drive to Kigali

You will then check out of the lodge and set off on a drive to Kigali city with an enroute lunch and upon arrival, your safari driver will drop you off at your hotel in Kigali or direct at Kigali international airport for an evening flight to your next travel destination.
