DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
Kampala/ Entebbe to Murchison falls national park: The 1st day of your 13 Days Uganda Safari will set off either from Kampala / Entebbe with a hotel or airport pick up by our experienced safari driver/ guide who will brief you about this adventurous safari as you set off on a drive to Murchison Falls national park with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary in Masindi before proceeding with you journey to the park. at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, you will enjoy a rhino trekking adventure for about 2 hours then connect to a hotel in Masindi for lunch as you proceed your journey to Murchison falls national park for check in, dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 2: Full day in Murchison falls national park
Full day adventure in Murchison falls national park: Wake up early in the morning for breakfast at your lodge on the 2nd day of 13 Days Uganda Safari, then meet your safari driver for an early morning game drive in the plains of Murchison falls national park, the Murchison waterfalls and many animals such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, African elephants, warthogs, zebras, bush pigs and birds. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch and return for an afternoon boat cruise at the Jet Paraa taking you upstream to the bottom of the most powerful waterfall. While on the boat cruise, you will enjoy the thunderous sound of the Murchison falls, watch many animals such as elephants, buffaloes and many animals along the banks of the river. Then head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale forest national park
Murchison falls national park: day 3 of 13 Days Uganda Safari is set aside for a full day drive. Enjoy your morning breakfast then check out and be driven to Kibale forest national park a home to over 13 primate species. Lunch will be enjoyed enroute along the way and upon arrival, you will check in your lodge for a relaxed dinner and night rest.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and guided nature walk
Chimpanzee trekking: Arise from the comfort of your bed early in the morning for breakfast as you get ready to spend an hour with Chimpanzees on a chimpanzee trekking safari in the wilderness of Kibale forest national park. Before embarking on Chimpanzee trekking on day 4 of 13 Days Uganda Safari, you will be briefed by experience rangers then head into the forests in search for chimpanzee troop that has been habituated and used to humans. While in the forest you will as well encounter with other park dwellers like other primates such as white and black colobus monkeys, baboons, L’Hoest’s monkeys, grey checked monkeys and different species of birds. When you find the chimpanzees you will be allowed to stay for one while taking pictures and watching chimpanzee play on tree tops. Bigodi nature walk: After the experience you will exit the forest and return to your lodge for lunch after which you will return to the jungle for an afternoon guided nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary one of the best birding spots in Uganda. You will be able to encounter other primates, plenty of bird species and many more. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Kibale Forest national park to Queen Elizabeth national park: On the 5th day of your 13 Days Uganda Safari, check out of the lodge and meet your driver for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. There is an optional tour to Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves as you head to Queen. Upon park arrival, check in your lodge for lunch and spend your afternoon on a game drive in Kasenyi plains one of the best sector in Queen Elizabeth national park.

Day 6: Full day in Queen Elizabeth national park
Morning game drive in Kasenyi Sector: Wake Up early have breakfast at your lodge on day 6 of 13 Days Uganda Safari then head to the park for an early morning game drive using various trails crossing through the park’s savannah plains such as Kasenyi trail, while during on the Kasenyi plains you will have an opportunity to watch many animals such as waterbucks, Uganda kob, elephants, lions, warthogs and various bird species such as herons, cattle egrets, malachite kingfishers. Then return to your lodge for late breakfast, rest as you wait for lunch.
Kazinga channel Boat cruise: After lunch you go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel connecting Lake Edward to Lake George, while on the boat cruise you will enjoy watching many birds such as malachite kingfishers, shoe bills and animals such as schools of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes on the banks of the channel. Return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Queen Elizabeth national park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: On the 7th day of your 13 Days Uganda Safari, you will wake up early for breakfast followed by hotel check out with a packed lunch box. Meet your driver to be driven to the Ishasha sector for a brief game drive amidst tree climbing lions. After the game drive, enjoy your picnic lunch and exit Queen Elizabeth national park and proceed with your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park found in the South Western region of Uganda. Expect to arrive late in the evening, check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Uganda Gorilla trekking Bwindi: Wake up early in the morning breakfast at your lodge on the 8th day of your 13 Days Uganda Safari then drive to the park’s headquarters for briefing experience by a senior ranger marking the start of your mountain gorilla trekking experience. You will be assigned a mountain gorilla family to trek then head for a 2 -8 hours hike through the forests ad back looking for mountain gorillas, with the guidance of a professional ranger who knows better where to find the gorillas you will locate the gorillas and when you do so you are allowed to stay in the presence of the gorillas for one hour. In the period of one hour you will enjoy watching these gentle giants picking fruits and leaves, watching over their kids and get to take pictures as long as your flashlight is off. While on this experience you will have a period of resting to have your lunch while in the forests of Bwindi meaning you bring your packed lunch with you. Later you will trek back, receive your trekking permits then head back to your lodge, relax abit then check out and be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale where you will spend you overnight.

Day 9: Full day in Lake Bunyonyi
Full day in Lake Bunyonyi: There are lots of activities to enjoy on this 9th day of 13 Days Uganda Safari. Wake up for breakfast then enjoy an entire thrilling day exploring the best of Lake Bunyonyi. You will enjoy a canoe ride to visit different island, take a boat cruise, guided nature walk and Zip lining among others. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge as above.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park
Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park: Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your lodge overlooking the stunning rolling hills of Kigezi on the 10th day of 13 Days Uganda Safari after which you will check out of the lodge and have your way to Lake Mburo national park one of the smallest savanna parks in Uganda located closer to Kampala Capital City. Well, lunch will be enjoyed enroute and upon park arrival, check in your lodge for dinner and have an overnight sleep.

Day 11: Full day in Lake Mburo National Park
Game drive and boat cruise: Have early morning breakfast at your lodge on the 11th day of your 13 Days Uganda Safari then head to the park for a game drive in the savannah plains of Lake Mburo National park. While on the game drive, you will get a glimpse of the 5 lakes found in the park and spot animals such as antelopes, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, topis and many more. After game drive, you will be returned to the lodge for lunch and return to the park for an afternoon boat cruise. On the boat ride you will enjoy the cool breeze of the lake and spot animals like hippos, Crocodiles, elands, Zebras and birds like shoe bill, fish eagles and many more. Later return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight. There is an optional horseback ride.

Day 12: Return to Kampala and connect to Jinja
Return to Kampala and connect to Jinja: Have morning breakfast at your lodge on the 12th day of your 13 Days Uganda Safari, check out and embark on a 4 hours’ drive back to Kampala where you will enjoy your enroute lunch before proceeding your journey to Jinja. You will arrive in Jinja in the evening hours, check in your lodge, have dinner served and grab a night rest at your booked hotel.

Day 13: Jinja White water rafting and return to Kampala
White water rafting: Have your breakfast on the final day of your 13 Days Uganda Safari then meet your drier for a transfer to the waterfall for a half day white water rafting. This activity is enjoyed by both the experienced and non-experienced rafters and its one of the best ways to close your Uganda safari. Jinja offers rafting up to grade 5 depending on the experience of the rafter. After the rafting adventure, you will enjoy your lunch, freshen up and be driven back to Kampala/ Entebbe for a drop off at your communicated location either at a hotel or at Entebbe International airport for your departure flight back home.
