Detailed itinerary of 13 Days Combined Kenya and Tanzania Safari
Day 1: pick up from Nairobi and transfer to Aberdares national park, game viewing
Pick up in Nairobi in the morning and drive northwards via the scenic surroundings to Aberdares National Park, arrive in the park in lunch time served at the camp and in the afternoon you will go for a visit to chimpanzee orphanage located within the reserve. Then return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: morning en-route game viewing – transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you will have an en-route game drive as you head to Lake Nakuru National Park, you will have a brief stopover in Nairobi for lunch.
Lake Nakuru National Park boasts a huge variety of animals including leopards, lions, buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes – the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes only found here and a huge population of pink flamingoes.
Arrive in the afternoon and have a game drive exploring the park and spotting a variety of wildlife up to sunset. In the evening you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: morning en-route game viewing – transfer to Maasai Mara
After breakfast, you will drive heading to Maasai Mara national reserve – a world famous Kenya wildlife safari destination, the reserve is a host to the annual migration of over one million wildebeests. Arrive in the reserve in time for lunch served at your lodge and in the afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring the endless plains till evening. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day game viewing and optional balloon safari ride/cultural visit in Masai Mara
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Masai Mara game reserve following the migration around Mara River and if you are luck you will experience them crossing the river while crocodiles are trying to catch some of them.
You will also spot several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, gazelles, cheetahs, giraffes among others. In the evening, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning game viewing in Masai Mara – drive to Lake Victoria, Musoma Tanzania side
After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Tanzania crossing the border then proceed to Lake Victoria. Have lunch after chec-in at Musoma Serenity lodge and in the evening, you will have a walk along the shores of Lake Victoria. Have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Musoma to Serengeti national park, game viewing
After breakfast, you will head north driving to Serengeti national park through Ngorongoro Highlands, arrive in the park in the afternoon for a sunset game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Full Day game drives in the endless plains of Serengeti park
On this day you have full day game drive in the plains of Serengeti national park giving you an opportunity to sight big cats such as cheetahs, leopards and lions.
You will wake up as early as 6 am for a sunrise game drive to search for early bird grazers followed by a bush breakfast at 8 am then return the park for another game drive searching for more wildlife. You will have picnic lunch and continue exploring the park. in the evening, return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: morning game drive in Serengeti national park and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Wake up and head to the park for morning sunrise game drive then transfer to Ngorongoro Crater with en-route game drive around the crater rim. Along the way you will visit Retima Hippo Pool for amazing views of hippos and other wildlife, you will an optional visit to The Olduvai Gorge where many incredible archaeological discoveries have been found. You can also have an optional visit to the Masai Village and learn their nomadic culture and be entertained by their traditional songs and dances. Have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 9: explore the Ngorongoro crater floor – transfer to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater floor for a game drive, the crater hosts a vast variety of animals including herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, eland, warthogs, hippo and giant African Elephants. Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as the 8th wonder of the world.
After the game drive, you will have return to the lodge for lunch and then check out and drive to Tarangire National Park arriving late in the afternoon for an evening game drive and overnight.

Day 10: Full day game drives in Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will go for full game drive experience in Tarangire national park, the park supports an incredible ecosystem featuring woodland, savannah, vast grassy plains, lakes and swamp.

Day 12: Full Day Game drives in Lake Manyara National Park
Have a full day game viewing in Lake Manyara national park , you will explore the park as you drive through bush tracks, visit the Lake Manyara which is a home of thousands of flamingoes and River’s twists and turns, you will spot elephants drinking and playing in the refreshing waters.
In the afternoon, you will do an optional short hike down the Great Rift Valley as well as visit to the local community. During the hike you enjoy the sounds of the forest and waterfalls surrounding the trails.
