Detailed itinerary of 12 Days Kenya and Zanzibar Honeymoon (Masai Mara and Zanzibar Beaches)
Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi and fly to Masai Mara
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will meet our representative and be transferred to Wilson Airport for your flight to one of the Airstrips serving Masai Mara National Reserve.
Upon arrival, you will be met by your safari driver – guide and be driven to your lodge with game drive en-route.

Day 2 – 4: safari in Masai Mara
On these days, you will start your day with a morning game drive exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara, an iconic reserve ranked among the best wildlife viewing destination in Africa and renowned for its big cats. Lions, leopards and cheetahs are in abundance, you will also see large herds of zebras, impalas, gazelles, wildebeests, buffaloes and elephants as well as hippos and crocodiles along the riverbanks.
After the morning game drive, you will return to the camp for a delicious lunch and rest for a while before your afternoon game drive. During the game drive you will have a romantic time with your loved one watching the sunset as you enjoy a drink in set up of a small table and director’s chairs.
In the evening, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
In additional to game drives, there are a number of other activities you can participate in Maasai Mara National Reserve including cultural visits to Masai villages and markets, guided bush walks, horse riding, hot air balloon ride and black rhino tracking experiences.
On the hot air balloon flight over Masai Mara, you will enjoy aerial views of the endless plains followed by a sumptuous champagne breakfast in on the plains.

Day 5: fly to Zanzibar and transfer to Baraza Resort
After breakfast, you will head to the reserve for the final game drive then return to lodge for early lunch. Checkout of the lodge and head to the airstrip for an afternoon flight back to Nairobi. When you land, you will be met by our representative and be driven to the international airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival at Zanzibar’s Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you will be met by our representative and be driven to your resort where you will spend the next seven nights in a romantic luxury ocean Front Villa at Baraza Resort and Spa.
Day 6-11: Explore Zanzibar
Relax and enjoy full days on the tropical islands of Zanzibar, spend your time lounging on the soft white beaches with a cocktail or coconut, take a dip in the stunning crystal-clear waters of the ocean or the swimming pool.
During your stay, you can visit and explore the Stone Town – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a former spice trading port. This historical town is brimming with history and is a melting pot of cultures with a unique blend of Swahili, Arabic, Persian, Indian and European found in architecture and cuisine. Explore the maze of winding alleys filled with colorful bazaars selling clothes, spices and trinkets.
You will discover the ancient stone houses, carved wooden doors, Arabian arches, latticed windows and overhanging balconies. Some of the interesting culture places to visit in the Stone Town include the Portuguese Fort, the old Dhow Port, the Old Slave Market, the Sultan’s Palace, the House of Wonders, Livingstone House, the Hamamni Baths and the Persian Baths of Kidichi.
You can also visit Prison Island, Mnarani Turtle Sanctuary, exotic spice plantations and Jozani Forest which is home to Colobus Monkey. Go on the reef and dolphin safaris, the mangrove forest, dhow trips and take a cultural tour to local village.
Day 12: Depart from Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will checkout of your resort and be driven to the airport for your flight back home. You will leave with many unique, blissful memories and a special connection to incredible sites and people of East Africa.
